McPartland Law Offices is committed to giving back to our community. Local folks trust our office to represent them and it is important to us to pay that trust forward into different enterprises in the regions we serve. Here are a few ways we are doing this.
McPartland Law Offices Scholarship Program
McPartland Law Offices awards five $ 500.00 scholarships to deserving seniors in eastern Washington (the senior must graduate from a high school in Okanogan, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Kittitas, Yakima, Klickitat, Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Asotin, Garfield, Columbia, Whitman, Adams, Lincoln, Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, or Spokane County).
The application will be graded on essay quality and presentation, as well as the applicant's high school achievements.
The applicant must write a short essay between 350 and 500 words, describing the way in which the civil justice system has impacted their life. This may be a direct impact, insofar as the person or a family member may have been involved in a claim or suit. It may be more indirect, for instance a way in which a civil case involving total strangers impacts the world in which we live.
The following are also requirements for consideration and should be included with the essay:
1. Name
2. Address - Mailing and Residential
3. Copy of High School Transcript
4. List of List of High School Activities
5. Certification to Word Count
6. Photograph of the Applicant
Any application missing any of these elements is disqualified from consideration.
